Project Description: To construct a covered area to provide shaded play space and an additional outdoor teaching and learning area that will link into our existing Resource Centre.

Proposal:  To construct metal shade structure, pave undercover area, landscape existing gardens and provide perceptual motor templates.

Reduce Water Consumption Project

Grant:  Community Water Grant - Reduce Water Efficiency Initiative

Project Description:  The school has undertaken a number of initiatives to reduce water consumption including the installation of a bore and tank (Term One, 2006) to irrigate our grounds.  This grant provides for the installation of water efficient tapware throughout our facilities.

Proposal:  Installation of water efficient fixtures and fittings including timed-flow and regulated tapware in student and staff amenities.

Commencement Date:  Term Two, 2006

Completion Date:  Term Four, 2006

Project Description:  Minor Capital Works Project - Tuckshop renovation and equipment upgrade.

Proposal:  Install an industrial kitchen including walk-in freezer, improve security and upgrade equipment to comply with Education Queensland's directive to implement the 'Smart Choices' Strategy.
